Event and route about

About the event

THE RICHARD MILLE CUP HAS BEEN CREATED OUT OF A PASSION FOR CLASSIC YATCHS OF BEAUTY, GREAT DESIGN AND FINE WORKMANSHIP, FOR A LOVE OF COMPETITION AND TO INCLUDE A NEW EXCITING EVENT.
IT INTENDS TO ESTABLISH ITSELF AS A GLOBAL REFERENCE AND A HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EVENT IN THE YACHTING CALENDAR FOR SAILING ENTHUSIASTS WORLDWIDE.
At the heart of this race is a desire to create a challenging sporting event which pushes competitors across a range of coastal and offshore races, With all of the vessels built or designed before 1940, the Richard Mille Cup will recreate the spectacle, sporting values and elegance of the regatta circuits of the pre-war years.

Programme

By showcasing a mix of racing formats, the Richard Mille Cup will provide very different challenges for competitors and aims to reward all-round performance throughout the entire series.

Although there are excellent social events outside of competition, the core emphasis remains on racing classic yachts.
